The lip was designed to be secured with vhb tape, some bolts, and screws. It allows flex. The lip is so low it'll hit curbs, steep driveways, speed bumps, etc. If molded, a good shop will have to fuse or secure the lip to the bumper so it does not flex, move, or break at the joints/where the edge of the lip meets the bumper. They'll bondo to make it seamless and it'll look great. What this does is transfer the stress point to other parts of the bumper's mounting holes when it hits something. If the lip isn't properly secured to the bumper, it'll flex and crack at the joints. Can't speak to Fly1 's fitment.
