How often are you expecting to clean the filter?? I blow out my dry filter with an air compressor every 4-5 oil changes (that's only every 20-25K miles and with an easily accessible R2C CAI with a decent air box to block heat in the engine bay).

K&N (and other wet) filters don't need recharging but every 8-10 oil changes (assuming a 4-5K mile OCI). Dry filters are easier but I like to clean them about twice as often as the oiled filters. Mainly because it's so easy.

Not to mention the bumper is like 5 clips and 2 screws underneath and 2 screw by each fender. Takes about 5 minutes to remove and the same to reinstall. No need for jack stands or anything. Just my experience
