Did you ever have Ester Oil in your Z ??? If so, when you changed to Red Line did you engine noise change? My local dealer told me that the main reason to stay with Ester is engine noise reduction.

You're welcome. As you know, the nissan fills their engine with regular oil from the factory. So, going from regular to Redline, I thought car was much quieter. Who knows, it could be just my imagination. Though, few other members noticed the same thing ..

Distinctively quieter engine after oil change...can it be?
