It's a recall generation with all makes and models these days... As far as new tech in the Corvette. It's only the DCT and front lift. But dual clutches have been in GM race cars before.
The rest of the technology is not new. It's just an updated c7 with the engine rearranged. The tech has smoothed out and upgraded instead of been invented in most cases.

If there were to be problems? I would think it may be cooling issues. But chevy has made several different mid engine prototypes that were rigorously tested over 5 decades. The car is new to market but not their experience in building mid engine cars. So I don't think it will be too bad

It's a first year model and just like with any car. You'll see the best version of thesecars in the 3rd and 4th year. That's true of GM or any car company.
