I have a bunch of little clip-on-your-old-man-reading-glasses LED lights; I clipped those on various strategic locations in the compartment. Still ended up holding an Adam's Polishes light in my teeth for most of the install. Their little handheld lights are bright AF, love 'em.

And I'd recommend two telescopic magnets.. the second is for when you end up dropping the first one into the compartment...
