I hope this helps someone; I know I spent more on tools to try and solve this problem than the damn brace cost, and finally gave up out of frustration lol

Most important tools for installation: telescopic magnet and good flashlight. Flashlight to locate the bolt you dropped so you can attempt to retrieve it with the magnet. Good thing the kit didn't come with stainless steel bolts.
