I remember as a kid riding with my mom from Bartsow CA to Laurel Mississippi none stop. She would take a couple of couple of hour naps along the way. Between her and my dad I got my affliction for making long distant drives. I do at least one 14 to 16 hour solo trip a year. If I am traveling with the wife I don't like to do more than 10 hours at a time. |
When we do Pittsburgh to Denver. That's one stop for the night. Pittsburgh to Moab is two stops. Pittsburgh to Miami is one stop for the night. Used to drive that straight through.
