10:1, if there ever is a new Z, it will be at least in part electric. Toyota knows that they need to move in that direction as well.

At least a hybrid powertrain would let you keep going when the juice ran out. After all, the idea of a true sports car is to take long drives from A to A, with no reason other than to drive. Time spent stopped, recharging batteries is time wasted. But hauling around the heft of meaningful batteries runs counter to the definition of a sports car. Supra is too heavy in current form already. Probably all that BMW luxury!

Long live the petrol powered sports car. But realistically, probably not that long.
