HP doesn't get you to 60 anyway. TORQUE does. And that, as I said, is where the Supra has it all over the Z. It's my biggest disappointment with the 370Z.

Yes, I have a 2013 Z Sport 6MT. My wife drives it mostly. We had it at the track last Friday. Fun. With a better driver, it would probably get to within 3 or 4 seconds of my 4C, even though I have 93 fewer horses. Power isn't everything!

Your Camaro SS 1LE is, indeed, an amazing and under-appreciated car. I recommend it to a lot of people shopping, and they mostly forgot to look at them or don't know the car. It's definitely worth a look. But more important than "Starbucks"? Jury's out! ;-) LOL.
All torque is, is a product of horsepower + gearing and a profile evidenced as area under the curve.

More torque allows taller gearing for equal output and a larger area under the curve.
