Heads got back to them earlier this week and final assembly is happening. It does appear that the machine shop they use had a large work load. Since they say the parts have been back in their possession work has been progressing at a decent pace (although again different from the expectation that was set).


Some of the the valves weren't sealing when they did the pressure test so it took some extra time to do a valve job (which is listed as something that's supposed to be done anyway )

In other news


Found a pigtail locally to fix the crank sensor connector that I forgot to disconnect but the engine hoist didn't


Right now I'm doing all of this on a stupidly small concrete slab and with everything coming together hopefully soon I decided to divert some money into pouring a 10x20 slab to be able to stretch out on. No way i can fab the exhaust in it's current situation etc. I'll be boxing up everything this weekend and I have the concrete truck booked for next thursday
