Finally had to replace the factory installed Yokohamas on my non-Sport Touring model. I got ~25K miles out of them. Yesterday I had the local Big Brand Tire, Tire Rack's recommended installer, put on stock sized
Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum.
Not interested in making any comparisons to other choices BTW - just reporting mine. I'm expecting these to run quieter and last longer. One of the attractions is a 6 year/ 60K mile tread life warranty. I did run them up to low triple digit speed on the way home and the car feels as rock solid as it always has under those conditions. Anyway, time will tell if it was a good choice.
