Thanks for the link, that's helpful. In my case the edge was completely ruined and I had to trim about 4 inches off so I really need entire edge replaced. If I have no luck with the trim shop tomorrow I will look at splicing a piece in, overlapping each end and hand stitching. Will probably use some contact cement (that yellowish glue) as well as it supposed to be flexible.
