We had the OV-10's at NKP as well, O-2's, C-123's, CH/HH3's Jollies, HH53 Super Jollies, AC-119K, C-47's, and a bunch of Transit Alert aircraft just passing thru.
Getting cut up on airplanes was more or less a given.
We were supposed to wear fatigue trousers with buttons instead of zippers so as not to snag or short out electrical equip.
I developed some mid range hearing loss from working on the flightline.
