2. What is the exact fluid do i need for my rear differetial (not LSD, I have a base model)? This part kills me. Everybody saying I should use 75W-90 (either redline or eneos for GL-5) but when I called a dealer, they said 80W-90 Once more, I do not have LSD. I have a base model. Is it different fluid to be used for non-LSD and LSD?:
I have a 2019 sport coupe with the 6MT and changed out the driveline fluids recently. My gearbox was notchy, especially the 1st - 2nd shift which also made noise sometimes, unless I rev matched it perfectly. I went with Redline MT-85 in the tranny and Redline 75W-90 diff lube in the diff. Shifting across all the gears has improved significantly, with the 1st - 2nd becoming pretty good now. There is also noticeably less driveline friction, as the car takes off from a start more smoothly and with greater strength.
