So here’s what I’ve learned about dynamat, the thinner more dense stuff helps with chassis mounted noise, rattles, vibrations etc, while the thicker/foam type stuff helps more with “airborne” noises, exhaust, engine, road noise etc... I have a combination of the two and it works great. Though my exhaust is still very loud, but now I can at least have conversations in my car lol. (Gthaus full cat back, no resonators, with motordyne ART test pipes)
