Sounds more like driver error or crap tires to me with the issues you were having. And sure, compared to a bigger, heavier car, it may seem a bit bouncy. That bounce is a lot less than other sports cars I've driven or owned.

Your CX5 may have excellent AWD grip, but I guarantee it would either slide right off the road or roll over taking the same 45mph off ramp I take at well over 70mph.
I had the stock potenzas and then Pilot Super Sport. My z06 was lighter and far more responsive suspension wise, and never skittered about. As to driver error...there are only so many ways to drive over a bridege, lol

As to the cx5 and other vehicles, i noticed when driving my z06 with a g meter that at around 0.7g or so was where I typically felt safe on normal roads. Beyond that, and I worried about any gravel or a spot of oil, etc. I have no idea where I feel comfortable in the cx5 as it has no meter, but it does pretty well in the "moose test" at 77km/h. I tried to find the 370z but they didnt do one.
