Working flat rate sucks big time.
One job and you can lose your azz for the week.
Goodyear paid me $6.50 hr plus commission. My commission was always over $1,500 a week. This was back in 83 to 88. Chevy dealer was flat fuvking rate. Never made anything close to what I made at Goodyear.
