And with the diagnosing/troubleshooting, need to learn how everything works together.....then put your time in and gain some (alot) of experience. For me, alot of my troubleshooting skills was 25% learning and the rest was time... technology changes so fast that you dont have time to keep up.. its experience and seeing a multitude of different problems and learning from them.
