I understand that it wouldn't run out. I'm having a hard time describing what I'm trying to say. Basically there really isn't that much grease in there already which is the only way the bearings get lubed. If the zerk fitting is facing down as the grease heats up it turns into a liquid essentially turning the zerk fitting into a cup of liquid grease. Since the fitting is facing down all the liquid grease just ends up puddling into the fitting and not into the turbo bearings where it is needed. I think I'm just looking way too far into this....it just crossed my mind when my zerk fell out and I had to reinstall one into my Comp Turbo.
