Default Main Instrument Gauge (Combination meter) Swap to 2017 Nismo Gage Swap

So currently I own a 2010 40th anniversary Z. Been slowly converting my vehicles interior silver trim to the 2015+ Nismo Gun metallic trim. I am currently working on the the main Gauge Cluster behind the steering wheel and was able to source a 2017 Nismo replacement.

My question to you all is it a direct swap plug and play? From what I read on nicoclub.com’s FSM files it looks to be a direct swap. I know the concern was making sure the gauges was both sport model, manual gear indicator gauges. Has anyone attempted to replace there Instrument gauges with a newer model Z parts? And I’m presuming mileage reading of the vehicle will be reading of what the ECU is sending to the new Nismo unit?

Thanks in adavance. I’ve researched for a couple days without any luck.
