That's the hard way. And it's a POS.
I tried to use it and gave up.
I've done 3 diff bushings so far. Takes me 20 minutes to remove the diff bushing. I use a deep 2" hole saw to cut the center section out. Don't use a cordless drill. They don't have enough power and get hot too quickly. Use a good 1/2 electric drill. Then a sawzall to cut 2 to 3 cuts in the outer shell. Then use a muffler tool to remove the outer shell. Starting at the saw cuts.
