I’m actually considering doing a mild refresh on the (non matching) 2.4 and building my 2.8 donor engine for racing.

The 2.4 could be my sons “learner motor”. A bit less power for a teenager and then we can have fun as another project down the road swapping in his “racer” 3 liter build. (It’s a bit easier on cash flow this way as well, as I’m planning for about a 50% possible “bloat” on my 25k ish build budget)

The old adage “twice as long and twice the price” sadly is very true.
