I know exactly how you feel. Believe me. There has been times where I was on top of the world, only to get beat down. 3 times in my life where I made it. Only to get laid off, and have to start from scratch again. Try making a $500 house payment on $6.50 min wage, and raising a family.
There has been times where the end of a gun barrel looked pretty tasty.
I've come to this conclusion. You just have to be in the right place, the right time, and say the right thing, to the right person to get ahead. I've seen it happen over and over.
