So my only concern after reading what you want to do vs your goals is that you want to track the car. From experience with other cars the lowering spring route (yea yea I hear all the swift praise) isn’t the you’ll want to go. It never really works out ideally and you end up just wasting your money in the end. My opinion would be to save the money and pick up powertrix (frequently on sale) or fortune coilovers and do it right, otherwise you get the swift lowering springs do some track days fine the shocks suck and now back to where you started and having to buy expensive bilstien or Komi shocks.

As for sways as others have noted the hotchkiss rear is really stiff but so is their front. Most the track rats like the hotchkiss front but I’d caution and say to pay attention to the complete package. Meaning match all your components, don’t go R compound tires with softer springs and sways and vice versa don’t go ultra stiff sways with street ultra summer tires. I’ve gone both ways in the past and now on a happy center point (with a medium setup throughout), I know I won’t be the fastest on the track but I’ll have fun and hold my own and can still enjoy in a day to day basis. Example really stiff sway will reduce roll but also reduce mechanical grip so it may requires a stickier tire, if your not willing to invest in that for a day to day driver then that may not be the way you wish to go.
