We all should be pissed weather you are for Trump or not he and our congressional leadership are failing us.
This is a pretty great summary. It doesn't help that Health Care is such a huge issue to tackle. I have no doubt if the Republicans really had a better platform, they'd have unveiled it, but short of cutting coverage (again) for people with pre-existing conditions, you're not going to cut the cost of health care, and you're not going to stop the costs from rising, unless you make some pretty aggressive moves elsewhere in the sector. Right now a massive portion of the cost of healthcare goes into administration and advertising (up to 25% and 15%, respectively). Eliminating that is very tricky to do. Chronic illnesses such as diabetes and heart disease have also increased - responsible for as much as 85% of health care costs for spending that actually goes towards providing care.

Sickest 5% of the population are 50% of the total health care cost. Blows my mind.
