It has been so cold they stopped using salt. Both lanes on the expressway are packed down ice piles now. 45 mph the whole way home and the Fit was moving all over the place. I had about 200 yards in front of me until the next car and I hit the brakes hard and I didnt even slow down one bit
I eased off the gas pedal and prayed when my exit was coming up. Luckily it is uphill to the stop light.
