Well I did it, and it didn't exactly turn out perfectly I'm afraid. Masking those curves at each end is quite difficult I must say, and I spent a good amount of time trying to get them perfectly.
After the first coat, I noticed two spots running, and it was due to the recessed areas in the inside of the fangs. As I tried to get up in there it ran in the surrounding areas. After the very first coat I went back over the runny areas with the steel wool, didn't seem to to do much. So I went back over it with a few coats and then the clear coats.
It looks perfectly fine from 10 feet away, but up close it is less than perfect. I am planning on getting some touch up pain for some other chips and once I get it I will try to get a perfect line. The tough bit is that with a white car, every tiny little mistake sticks out like a soar thumb.
I will get some pics later on but I already know I will plan on getting a new bumper (looking in your direction stillen...).
Good write up Simota, def takes patience and a steady hand.
