I have a Nismo and have the Z1 34 row kit. Yes, you have to flip the dampener over. The fat part of the dampener is in the way of the cooler. I also added 1/4" thick spacers behind the brackets for added clearance.

That's what I understand in the install. 34 row will be overkill for me. I also read that people with 19 row still have a hard time getting HOT in northern climates like myself. I don't want to tape over cooler or install some sort of blocker. Not tracking.

I'd like to hear from Mishimoto users. There seems to be good reviews for their catch cans here. If they are simply rebranding standard parts, how could they have bad quality. Not sure what they are actually making in-house.
