When my first mother in law lived in Miramar. She used to call southern Fl. North Cuba.
My wife had an uncle who had a business in Miami. Had 2 guys working for him. One Cuban, and one Jamaican. He would have to translate for them. As when they spoke Spanish. They couldn't understand one another. Two different dialects.
