0-60 time is impressive. I hope it isn't a one-trick pony(car), and can handle a turn or two.
I still maintain that nobody is cross-shopping a Toyota with a Porsche, but having some convenience, a nice interior, some creature comforts, and still being able to throw the car around will give performance oriented drivers an option.
That weight still bothers me, though. Has to affect acceleration, braking and cornering adversely. I'm afraid that they created a fat grand tourer butter-knife instead of a track scalpel. Hopefully, some clever people will discover that much of the heft is surplus to requirements, and can be shed without making the car un-liveable.
