yes, if the tech just did this without reason and didnt mention it. sue for sure.
however, it's a tesla. you can update and change everything in the car whilst in the car. it's not like it was tearing the car apart to put a new set of batteries in. or rewiring the whole brain of the car. you could have reset the limiter and if i had a dumbass 18 year old son driving a powerful model S i would be checking that limiter multiple times a day.
also, 116mph crash doesnt seem outlandish considering 98% of cars in the Tesla price range, buyer group, performance category, all have speed limiters around 160+ mph.

Sounds like they are blaming the fire for his death, not hitting two brick walls and a pole at 116.
