The living room finally took a turn for the positive yesterday after I tore out most of what I had constructed last week

Also finally got everything marked correctly for mounting so I can patch and finish the wall prior to mounting. New digital coax cable (for sub) is on order - I had a 15' one that was about 18" too short so now I'll have a 25' one
