Nissan 370Z Forum - View Single Post - What is that stud for on the front rotors?

Hey...so I put on my winter tires but had to take off that stud looking thing on the front rotors. It’s basically a bolt with a sleeve on it. It did not fit with the new rims.

Anywho, I took it off and all seems well, just wondering why it as there in the first place.
