I would call Nissan North America and express your concerns over the car's safety. Even though the car is older, at 53K miles there is no reason for the system to fail. Your hurdle is how much you have revealed to the dealer. If they know the problem is likely caused by you leaving your windows down in the rain, they may have no interest in helping you. If you haven't told them, don't. And you might want to delete this thread, too...
Im all about integrity and good vibes, so I would not want to lie or have any bad juju follow me. Great idea however lol...

I might just have to ride around with no airbags, FUGGIT.

Worst case I just reset my airbag each time it rains. I am not finding any install or repair videos online and I don't feel comfortable taking my seats and center console apart (knowing my luck clips will break and pieces wont go back on as originally placed).

The manual tells me where all the SRS stuff is, but not how to take things a part to get to them... UGHHH

Wish I had a easier fix for this.
