I currently have an iPhone 3G. This is my 3rd one.

First one, the mic died...
Second one, the slide bar would move, but the phone wouldn't unlock.

Apples warranty allows me to just take it back, and if they can't fix it, I get a brand new one. Does Verizon do that with the Droid?

Also, I unlock/jailbreak my iPhone so I could feasibly use any sim card in it and I can change just about any look of it to suit my tastes. Can the Droid do that?

My iPhone has a Map feature that gives me directions on point. So I don't see the google feature being that specifically awesome?

I have an app on my iPhone that goes directly to youtube, does the Droid have that?

Also, I don't use facebook, so that app is wasted on me. But what I can use is Apps that work with my Instant Messaging services, can I still do that with a Droid?

I love a touchscreen keyboard, and the small dimensions of the iPhone. I myself am not partial to a sliding KB, but for those who weren't at first, have you since grown to like it, or hate it? My thing against it is it sliding open when I don't want it to... And also the tiny buttons, being fat fingered when your trying to type.

Also, if I remember correctly, Verizon doesnt use sim cards, so the phone is locked to them isnt it? So you can't take it globally, or have they changed that?

Lastly, as I said before, I can unlock my iPhone and make it do whatever I want, can you unlock a Droid?

Sorry for so many questions, I see the droid, I like the droid... But the iPhone does have some features that make me want to hold onto it. If this 3rd one breaks I'm done with it though. I'll just buy a Droid free lance and if I can unlock it, somehow get it on AT&T's network... if I can?
