Anyway, I hear a weird POP. Get back in the car to close the top, and nothing happened, either opening or closing. The TOP OPEN indicator light was lit on the dash board. Thought about checking fuses, but got lazy and popped the little plastic cover thing so I could close it manually. Got in the drivers seat, pulled the top down as far as I could to lock it, and just for grins, pressed the TOP switch. It started working again. Worked flawlessly after that. I guess the top was between sensor positions and didnt know if it was open or closed.
I've been following the top issue for a long time now, and am wondering how often the people with top issues operate the top. Do you operate the top on a frequent basis?
