I was a radio technician, so yeah, I was in signal. I worked on the radios that talked to the aircraft in Marine Air Support and Marine Air Control Squadrons. I worked on HF, VHF, and UHF radios and could to things with HF antennae that made it possible to talk island to island off a 30' fiberglass whip AND talk half way around the world.
