Well.... technically, since I served during that time (74 to 94) I am considered a Vietnam era veteran...
but there are so many that claim to have served in 'Nam, it's probably better I don't advertise that.
It's better to quote the 'official' record any way. I had a few really lazy unit diary clerks that didn't keep the SRBs (service record books) 100% up to date. Which is why a few deployments don't show up.....
