I was notified when the first Giulia Quadrifoglio arrived at my local Alfa dealer (which is also owned by the Nissan dealership next door). Signing up well before the decision for no manual in the states, I was soundly disappointed when the sales people said no plans of bringing a manual here.
I sat inside - a bit smaller than I’d prefer for a sedan, but the handling and character of the car was phenomenal. BUT... no manual. Upgrade plans moved aside.
While the standard Giulia’s drive decently, have adequate power - their character is much different than the Quad (or Z). A bit less engagement (and no r#&:@;!! manual), but nicer ride quality and acoustics. Perhaps that is what ur brother is looking for.
