Can you? Yes. You won't damage your car, but it won't lock your tires to the road.

If it were me I wouldn't. Learn to drive your newly boosted car with the tires you have, you'll be a better driver for it. I could spin the rear tires out without boost and I have 305 RE71Rs if I want, it doesn't mean the tires suck, it means I'm not driving right performance wise. Also if you put R888R on the rear and keep PSS on the front and drive through a wet/damp spot you stand a good chance of the car spinning out.

I'd run the PSS out to the end and then think about upgrading. PSS are fine tires.
