No. To use the flex fuel sensor you would have to disable some evap codes and so the EVAP monitor would also be disabled. The EVAP monitor is required to be in either INCOMPLETE or COMPLETE state. N/A state indicates disabled codes and the vehicle will fail smog.

Aside from using a flex fuel sensor, there are other learning approaches that could be implemented using the ecutek custom programming language to determine ethanol content directly from combustion results, thus not requiring the need for a flex fuel sensor. There are multiple ways to handle flex fuel, each approach has its advantages/disadvantages.
