And I have an update!!!! Obviously I’m not the fastest mechanic but I finally got the left cam cover off. and Found something, sorry I don’t know why the image came in sideways.

I'm not bashing you. Just giving you a heads up.
The front seal is the round seal that the damper slides into. It's located in the front cover. When you apply heat to the damper. It may transfer into the seal. Making it hard and brittle and causing a leak. Don't ask me how I know.
In the picture. Do I spy a piece of gasket hanging down in the back?
