The service manager at Crossroads Nissan called me today. They are going to install a third Longblock in my car. When I asked if it was possible to insure that the block was not from older inventory he replied that he could not. He continued to insist that his position was that Nissan should supply me with a new car. I am completly baffled as to why Nissan, with a car that has had numerous cases of high oil consumption and oil temperature issues cannot insure the quality of it's replacement parts??
