I'd love to find a solution using just fuel tank foam. Searched foam over in the track section and it doesn't look like anyone's been successful in that endeavor though.
Those that have installed the Z1 kit or the CJM RRP kit to my knowledge have never removed those kits once installed. Phunk's kit is bullet proof. I been running his kit for a couple of years now.

I believe you had fuel starve. You're not the first to have it or the last.
