I'm having a hard time managing expectations for the next car. I want one NOW... but finding something that I can get excited about is tough. A Nismo would be nice, but everyone wants $35K for a car with 20k on the clock. Good Lord, at that price point, I'd be better off with a new one...
Right now, it seems like the most reasonable prices are in the Midwest. Adding to my deciding challenge, a 90 300ZX NA popped up for sale in Omaha. It's got 114K on the clock, but the guy has maintenance records back to 2000 when he bought the car. The big down side is that the oil pump has not been replaced and that's what quit on my son's car at about 150k. Price is good at about $6k, it's not perfect exterior wise, some chips and dings, but that can be fixed. Interior is pretty good, everything appears to work. I really want a 2016-2018 one.... 'sigh'....

Mmm I love the Z32 series of cars. But I wouldn't pay even 6k for an NA at this point unless it had everything rebuilt recently. After 28 years, gaskets/seals/hoses just don't hold up.
