Disclaimer: Not claiming any year(s) are better than others, it is very subjective.
The pre 2015 Nismo had the same seats as the regular Z, just with a nismo logo

The 2015+ Nismo wing is not the same as the sport spoiler, to the point where if you pull it off you can see how the rear bumper is extended to accomodate its thickness

Front facia "shared by Sentra"? The Nismo Z facia debuted in 2015. Nismo Sentra in 2017. Sorry

Anyways, everyone is being defensive about the pre 2015 Nismo when it's simply reality what it is.

The bottom line:
All the Nismos from any year don't really add enough to justify the difference in MSRP.

The gap shrinks when you go to the used market, where it's down to condition and mileage.

The 2015+ Nismo literally offers more stuff, such as the seats and shorter gearing, or the tech interior

The pre 2015 Nismo has a much stiffer suspension, this is well documented. Whether its "better" or not is dependent on the individual and what they want

No matter what, anyone modifying their Z is tossing the suspension, intake, and exhaust ANYWAYS, so really what it comes down to is which body kit you want and whether you care about the seats.
