My rental insurance doesn't cover damage from crossing rivers, so I turned around and retraced my steps. Come to find out 1) i tore off the undershroud somewhere along the way and 2) for that particular route, a much larger vehicle is recommended. No real harm done. Don't take F249 if you visit.

The scenery here is amazing, otherworldly. Getting some good pics. Walked on a glacier. Tomorrow I'm going to pet a puffin. That's not a euphemism, Frank.
