I'm hugely disappointed in Apple for this product.

I've been looking out for a Mac netbook for 2 years now. This thing could have been revolutional if it ran OS X instead of the iPhone OS. Agreed that it's just a huge iPod Touch. Imagine what this could have been though:

If it ran OSX, you could place it on a little stand in front of you on your desk, use it as a computer with a wireless keyboard and mouse, and then drop it in your bag when you go off to work. A truly mobile, versatile computer that is iPhone thickness, massive battery life, and does it all. They could drop the Macbook line completely and offer the iPad in various screen sizes from 10 to 15 inches. My guess is people would easily pay $999 or more for a true OS X iPad, especially if it had accessory external drives and an accessory dock (with HDMI, USB, eSATA, etc) that could connect through the usual iPhone dock connector it already has.

Instead, we get a big iPod Touch that runs only apps from the Crapp Store. My iPhone actually does MORE than the iPad, just with a smaller screen. My guess is that any iPhone owners will steer clear of this thing unless they just have cash to burn and a desire to have all the gadgets.
