When I worked for Elliott TurboMachinery. I did a LOT of traveling around the country. Some of it was for 1 day to 6 weeks on site. When I would go to Ashland Oil Refinery in Canton Oh. That would be 4 to 6 weeks on site. I would always come home 20 to 25 lbs heavier.
Never eat in the same place twice. That area has everything under the sun to eat at. I could spent as much as I wanted, long as I had a receipt.
When I worked for Duke Energy. Had to go to Cinci for some training. Op's manager told us about a good place to go and eat. Morton's Steakhouse. So....ok me and another co-work went there to eat. Just for me. My bill was $110.00.
The other guys bill was about the same.
Got back to the plant and turned in our expenses to the Op's manager. The next day when he went through the expenses. He called us into the office and tried to chew us azzez out. Said that he wasn't going to approve the expenses. I said that YOU recommended THAT place. So you had to eat there too! How much was your bill? End of story. He approved everything. Because he knew I had him.
