One thing to remember about ceramic coatings is that they are not bullet proof. They can and most likely will still get small hair line scratches in it. While it does make the car easier to clean it doesn't protect against abrasions or anything like that.

I say all this from experience I used to work for a company that competes with the ones you're talking about and after 20 hours of polishing my Z I had at the time. We coated it and it looked awesome for a couple months. I never used a duster, I did proper washing techniques and still they kept coming back. If I could do it again I would have invested in one of the clear bra like Llumar, Suntek, Xpel at the very least for the front clip. This is much more robust in helping keep rock chips and things like that down, not to mention they are self healing. Yes, they are more expensive but they last way longer that consumer grade Ceramic Coatings.
